Timo Pfoertner

About Timo Pförtner

Timo Pförtner graduated from University of Cologne in 2008 with a diploma in Sociology. He studied social science, psychology and empirical social and economic research. Since October 2008 he is a PhD student in the SOCLIFE research training group at the University of Cologne.

Before he joined SOCLIFE he worked as a junior project manager in online market and scientific research at Respondi AG in Cologne. His dissertation project - the relationship between poverty and health in Europe: a multilevel approach - focuses on the association between poverty and health within and across European countries and explores their macro-specific determinants.
